Activity Zones

The UK’s second international MSF Jamboree 2021 will be a mind-blowing experience and will provide young people with the opportunity to delve into a site filled with endless hours of fun and adventure as well as unlocking new challenges and friendships through exploring seven mega zones. From the moment you arrive on site you are guaranteed to have an incredible time and make memories to last a lifetime.

Air

All set and strapped in? The air zone will set to blow you away!

From zorbing to bungee jumping, hot air balloons to high tech activities and a range of other exhilarating Air-themed scouting games. An opportunity to face fears and fiercely compete whilst achieving the staged air activity badge for all sections.

Water

Take a huge leap and be prepared to get absolutely soaked.

A zone jam-packed with water sports; from canoeing to building your own coracles to an insanely large water slide. A perfect opportunity to try out water activities and gain confidence on water whilst having lots of fun.

Earth

A zone full of muddy endeavours including mud runs and DIY.

You will get hands on as well as muddy and understand lots about Earth conservation which will build on knowledge obtained from the sustainable development goals zone. A unique opportunity to build relations, get stuck in and develop a greater understanding on the world around us.

Fire

A zone full of muddy endeavours including mud runs and DIY.

You will get hands on as well as muddy and understand lots about Earth conservation which will build on knowledge obtained from the sustainable development goals zone. A unique opportunity to build relations, get stuck in and develop a greater understanding on the world around us.

Sustainable Development Goals

As the pandemic highlighted there has never been a greater need to understand and appreciate how we all have a role in making a difference especially as scouts.  The SDG zone will focus on discussing sustainable development goals through interactive learning and informative activities. A brilliant opportunity to learn about SDG’s through embracing and encouraging valuable change.

Bushscout

What is a scouting experience without an opportunity to get hands on and try first hand those traditional scouting skills?

From novices to those who are looking to expand their skills, the Bush scout zone will encompass additional scouting activities including penny stoves; knife skills, cooking and much much more.  The zone will try hone real skills-for-life for both young people and adults.

Arts & Crafts
Time to get your craft on...

A zone dedicated to individual creativity, designing and producing incredible art pieces which tie in with all four elements. A great opportunity to make memories which can be taken home as mementos of the time at the jamboree. We also aim to deliver a programme which will allow young people to complete a number of badges throughout the activity days.

"I can't wait until the 2021 Jamboree the last one was amazing!" - Zac, Explorer Scout
